Welcome to SA7KZA
My name is Jan, though my old friends call me Kuzy. My QTH is in southern Sweden, roughly 45 km north of the Øresund Bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden.
On this site I'll be publishing information about my amateur radio activities. It runs on my own self-hosted server, and given current energy prices, it's not meant to run 24/7 — if the site doesn't load for you one day, just try again the next.
I have a background in electronics and a fair amount of free time, so every now and then I design and build some little "gadget" that makes my work easier and more enjoyable. Times have changed — these days you can buy almost anything — but I believe a real radio amateur should still be able to build or modify at least some things themselves. That's what separates a licensed operator from an actual radio amateur.
On this site, I'll try to present my projects in a way that can also serve as learning material for less experienced amateurs. Where it matters, I'll also note what to avoid and what not to do. Suggestions for improvement are always welcome, as is a good technical discussion about a project — or a hand in designing the next one.
